Corcentric: Departure of Gérard Dahan
According to carefully researched information, it seems that Gérard Dahan, a pillar of Digital Procurement, has decided to leave his position as SVP EMEA of Corcentric (Determine) for a new adventure.
Gérard Dahan, after experiences at Intel and Ariba, literally created the Ivalua brand with a marketing strategy worthy of the big American software vendors and led the uninterrupted European growth of the software vendor for over seven years. Coming to Determine at a critical time for the company, Gérard brought his fire and allowed an evolution that led to the acquisition by Corcentric and to a company evolution that everyone will be pleased to discover on October 4th and 5th at the Solution Show in Paris, Porte de Versailles.
What will be the next step for this key player in Procurement and Procurement IS, no one knows. Some see him retiring, others at the head of SynerTrade still looking for a strategy. But if many of the new software vendors doped with AI would also benefit from his insights, perhaps we will find Gérard as the head of a communication company to accompany the evolution of the procurement function further, higher, faster.
